Safety
A spray tan is a cosmetic service, but skin can react to cosmetic products. Please read the guidance below before your appointment, and contact Avéleine directly if anything applies to you.
Contraindications & important safety information
Clients should disclose relevant skin conditions, allergies, sensitivities, medications and recent treatments before their appointment. Avéleine may decline or postpone a tan where it would not be appropriate to proceed safely.
If there is a history of sensitivity or allergy, a patch test may be appropriate before a full application. A patch test does not guarantee that a reaction cannot occur. If you develop irritation, swelling, breathing difficulty or another concerning reaction, remove the product where appropriate and seek medical advice urgently if symptoms are severe.
DHA products are intended for external skin application. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips and mucous membranes, and avoid inhaling the spray. Avéleine will use appropriate application and protective measures during the service.
This information is intended as general client guidance and does not replace advice from a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional. When in doubt, medical clearance should take priority.
